So my SO and I fight a lot! He has never hit me but he does punch other things. He screams at me and one night it got so bad that he shoved me. There was another night where he told me that he wanted to hit me. I called the cops after he left and asked them what they thought and the officer replied with "it sounds like you are in a domestic violence by mental anguish relationship. A lot of women find themselves in that kind of relationship." I've been wanting to get out but he tells me that he would find me and take our son from me. I'm so terrified to lose my son so I stay. I guess I'm not sure what to do. Advice? Also he will not let me get a job or go back to school.
