Can anyone help? My breast are super sore!

Whenever I take off my bra after a long day of work, I feel so relaxed and comfortable. However, recently, (as in this week) every time I remove my bra my breast feel heavy and sore and tender to the touch. I know tender breasts are a sign of pregnancy, but before I spend money on a Clearblue pregnancy test, are these symptoms possible for someone coming onto their period?
