How long to wait to test after IUI with injections?

Hello, this is actually my first "topic" so I hope I do this correct. I'm 5 dpiui.(my first) I did the Gonal-f injections and trigger, and am now currently using the progesterone inserts. I have pcos/hypothyroidism. All my test indicate my tubes are not blocked and no abnormalities in my uterus. I know it take a while for that "trigger" to leave my system, but I was wondering when I should start testing? I was told on day 12. Problem is I won't be able to get a blood test to confirm for about 3 weeks as I'm going on leave with my husband. I just don't want to get false positive and get my hopes up. So when do you think the test would be most true?
