Braxtin Hicks at 8 weeks?

I have what feels almost exactly like braxton Hicks contractions. Had a cup of coffee yesterday and they started up. Tight achey and heavy feeling in my uterus area. They haven't stopped unless I'm in bed a long time. And then getting up for the bathroom can make it start. My midwife is concerned about another miscarriage and I'm on bed rest. Anyone else? I had an irritable uterus with my daughter.. Would that transfer to other pregnancies?
