A little bummed

My DH and I have been TTC for 9 months now and since I am 37, rapidly approaching 38, were told to seek medical follow up after 6 months. I wasn't ready at 6 months to turn this into a problem but now have conceded and emailed my assigned OBGYN. We have Kaiser and not sure yet what to expect. Just sad that we haven't been able to do it on our own and scared where the path with doctors will lead. Working to shut my "what ifs" down but feeling less than all the same.
