I understand the desire to see a positive. I really do. But the best way to read a pregnancy test is with the naked eye.

I think it's not a terribly good idea. Unless the test is positive to your eyes, I wouldn't believe it.

I don't think it's a good idea. It just leads to people getting their hopes up & then getting disappointed when it was a false reading (evap/bad test/etc), or a chemical, etc...things you wouldn't have even known about, to get emotionally upset over, if you had just waited until a missed (5+ days late) period or until it was clearly positive without tweaking. So instead you drive yourself crazy trying to see something that might not be there, and sometimes believing you see a line when there really isn't one. I personally think it's less stress, less heartache, less disappointment, etc if you just wait until it's easily and clearly a valid positive without needing to tweak.

I feel sorry for women trying this. Ttc is so stressful to some and this seems so desperate to me.

I've been wondering about this tweaking thing. Has anyone tried the tweaking app the article mentions?
   
I've never tweaked a test. However, after my last MC (#2), my doc suggested that I start prescription progesterone as soon as I see another BFP (I hope it happens!) and the earlier the better. Tweaking would come in handy for that, right?
   
All opinions (yes or no) are welcome here, because I'm really curious about people's experiences with this.

I do it, but I've made myself only use saturation when I'm trying to see if there's actually color.
