My baby ๐
Woke up Sunday (June 28th), at 7:30am to go to the restroom. Noticed I was bleeding like a period. Called the hospital and Dr on call told me to give it a 30-60 minutes to see if it stops. I live 2 hours from the hospital and was 39 weeks pregnant. I wasn't waiting around. My SO & I shower and arrived at hospital at 10:30. By the time we arrived I was having contractions 5 minutes apart. They checked me was at 4cm, admitted me due to high blood pressure & frequent contractions, moved me rooms, gave me IV, checked me-- 7cm. Ordered for epidural, started pushing at 3pm. At 3:47 our baby girl was born. 7lbs 10.4oz 21in. long. Little meconiom swallowed so they had NICU in there. All is well ๐ 7.5 hours of labor zipped by. Most painful part was the hour or so of contractions. Went home 24 hours later, breastfeeding and doing great! 1 week and 2 days old ๐
