Am I wrong?

I need to vent. I am beyond annoyed with my boyfriend and want to think about what to say before I confront him about it. So yesterday we were talking about what I want out of my delivery experience. And he decided to go off and talk about childish things and thought it was funny.
First he was talking about tearing. I asked him to stop, he ignored me and kept going. Speaking about an experience he saw with his daughter. He spoke about how women sometimes defecate during labor. He said he would laugh if he sees that. I found none of that amusing. Am I wrong for not wanting him in the room with me now?

Not funny. Was he so uncomfortable and so childish he couldn't handle a real conversation about it? If that's the case, I'd love to see him handle a daughters first period.

Have him do a labor simulation. I understand not wanting him in there. Imagine if you did defecate he would probably post it on social media. Have him in the waiting room.

I think it's just how guys cope with an uncomfortable situation. He probably knows you're worried and is trying to lighten the mood. Just say "listen, this isn't funny. I'm really scared and just want to talk this out. I just need a little support." Even if you're not scared, the word tends to shut a guy up.

I think you were overreacting, but I'm blame it on hormones. He probably didn't want to be serious because he was also scared of labor. My ex is like that too. He loves talking about the
baby, but he won't look at her kick because "I've seen enough alien movies to know where this is going" and he doesn't talk about labor much either. Only thing we established is that he's doing skin to skin.

My husband is the same way, he says funny things (tht at certain times is not funny for me) and i get upset because i think he takes everything as a joke and doesnt care, but i learned he is that way and thts one of the reasons i love him, he brings out themost funny and weird thingsout of every conversation, so i think he was just trying to make you laugh at a bad moment , my husbandmakes fun of me because he says i pooped while giving birth which i dont believe it till this day (5 years later) but I just laugh about it. So please do not refrain him from being in the room, is a special moment for him too and he will not laugh if you poop, at least not at that moment, maybe he will after a couple of days

Maybe he is nervous.. Some ppl make jokes about something's that make them nervous.. You are going to want him there when you have your baby.. And he most like would take a fool when the time comes
