Sexual abuse and ttc

I was raped by a grown man from before I can remember until I was 4 years old. I have been having some fertility problems now as an adult and my obgyn said that scar tissue can block your fallopian tubes and make it hard to ovulate. I asked her what would cause scar tissue and she said like an infection I had as a child or something like that. I was to ashamed to ask her if rape could be the cause but I was wondering if anyone on here knew?
