Im freaking out major

Let's start by saying I was 5 days late on my cycle then it started very heavily which was odd. Only lasted 3 days compared to my normal 6 to 7 days. Well I was in bath tonight and used a douche when I started this brown string like stuff came out. By the end of my usage there was 5 of the string things in my bath water. I'm freaked out I've never had this or seen this happen before. Any advice on what just happened. I'm scared right now
