Is 31 weeks too late to do a 4D scan?

My husband is active military & won't be home until I'm 31 weeks exactly & we want to go to a 4D scan so he can see the baby before he leaves again because he won't be here for the birth either. But is 31 weeks to far along to see him? Will he be too squished up in there?

I did mine after 30 weeks. They look more like a baby then. The longer you wait the better. I think mine was at 32weeks with Bradley. I'm planning on doing one around that time again this time around.

Mine wouldn't even do one until 30 weeks so I'm sure 31 is fine.

28-32 weeks is the suggested time at most places here so it should turn out fine.

When my husband was active duty we waiting until 32 weeks and went and did ours, I think that's a perfect time.

The best time to take a 2D or 3D or 4D ultrasound Picture to see the facial features is from 28-36 weeks. So I would say it's not to late.
