Stop taking the pill?

DH and I would like to TTC in sept or anytime after, ideally.  I have been on Birth control pills since I was 17 and I am now 28.  I know sometimes it takes awhile for bodies to regulate after being on the pill that long.  Any help or comments on the matter is greatly appreciated!

I would say stop in july, use condoms until September, that way your body has time to rid itself of the hormones from the birth control.

I would say stop after your current BC cycle is done (mid cycle stopping can sometimes cause a more irregular first real menstrual cycles - though everyone is different!).  Mine will be up at the beginning of August and it's killing me to wait! Good luck!

Deffinatly make sure you use condoms or something until you want to become pregnant!
