Leg cramp caused damage?

I am 30w, and had my first leg cramp about four days ago. It hurt really bad and new that during that day my calf was going to be sore... But up to this day, it hurts to put pressure on it and walk. I try massaging it and it hurts worse. What should I do?

It could be a muscle sprain/pull. Ice, heat, rest, Tylenol.

Legs cramps can be from dehydration. Try eating some bananna or taking a potassium supplement to help heal your muscle. These cramps are very common in pregnancy. No permanent damage just a muscle spasm.

I experienced the SAME thing about three weeks ago. Had an awful cramp in my calf during the night. The next day it didn't hurt very much, but by the third day I could barely walk. Definitely NOT sciatica! My calf muscle had been pulled. My husband had to rub it each night for about 6 nights before he finally got the knot out. I feel your pain!! Hope it starts feeling better soon, mama.

I've been getting them in my thigh, on the inside, right above my knee. This morning it was both at the same time. :(
