Tampons!!!!

Okay, I've just recently tried using tampons, and so far I really like them. The only thing is ... putting them in, and taking them out gets pretty uncomfortable ... I don't even feel it once it's in, just the application and the removal. Does anyone else have that issue? Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
