Tampons.

So I'm 16, close to 17 and I really, really dislike pads, but my mom won't buy tampons. I know I prefer tampons over pads because I have used one before. All she says is, "tampons are harmful, tampons can cause tss, tampons are bad, tampons aren't for virgins (which i'm not even one but she doesn't know). " I know they're not, but is there any way I can convince her??
