Possibly pregnant but having my period?

4 days ago I started spotting a very light pink and a little brown. I've never spotted before. 2 days ago, I took a pregnancy test and it had the positive symbol show up just a tiny bit where my husband and I could just barely see it. Now this morning I started my period. Is it possible I could be pregnant even though my period started? Have any of you experienced this before? I have had 1 child so far so my periods havent gotten back to normal dates yet. I plan to take another test when my period stops. Thanks in advance.
