It kinda makes me mad that my husband only calls during his lunch if i tell him too.i feel it should be second nature it was when i was working i love hearing his voice but obviously he doesnt feel the same and yes ive told him it bothers me

He does sometimes. Honestly, I don't care either way. He's at work and has been busy all day...if he wants a minute to himself that's fine. Chances are I'm pretty busy as well.

Me and my husband literally talk on the phone most of the day! I'm a stay at home mom and he is in construction. He uses his headphones to talk to me. It's like we have a phone relationship and a home relationship 😂 Most of the time it's nice (We have been married for 8 years And have always done this) He's my best friend we are really close, some people think it's weird but it totally works for us

Why does him not calling you bother you so much, when he is at work? Does he tell you to call him on yours? What does he do? Maybe it is because you guys always talk and always around eachother , and if he calls you on his lunch then he probably won't have anything to tell you when he gets home.

No. But we do text a lot. I send pictures of what I'm doing throughout the day but I don't expect a phone call. He is busy and sometimes works through his lunch break. Sometimes he doesn't even get a chance to text me back until he is leaving work. I don't worry about it—most of the time I don't have anything interesting to say anyway. :) I don't know what your husband does but if it's busy and high stress it might help to be a little more understanding. ;) if you know when his lunch break is you can call and leave a voicemail telling him how much you miss him or a sweet text to let him know you are thinking about him.

My ex used to call all the time and it was more annoying than anything. I work nights from home and he works night outside of home. He didn't care if he was interrupting me or not. I'm a pharmacist and me getting interrupted can lead to a mistake and even cost someone their life. He never cared about that and would get an attitude when I wouldn't answer his call. I tried explaining numerous times to him what my concerns were and would call him back when I wasn't busy but still all I got was nastiness. Maybe if you back off your husband and give him room to breath, he will call you as time permits.

Could I suggest you giving the poor man a break, jobs are mentally exhausting his break is to eat and/or clear his mind, texting works for my hubby and I. Sometimes he surprises me with a phone call and is worth a lot more than if I was getting mad and pressuring him.

I don’t feel the need to be in contact with my husband 24/7. We see each other at the end of the day and catch up on the days events then. Personally idfeel kind of annoyed and suffocated if they rang me all the time

He's working.... if he needs a moment to himself he is entitled to one. And not to be rude or anything but you have zero reason for being upset about what he chooses to do with his time while he's working. When I'm on my lunch break I don't want to speak to anyone, I like to enjoy whatever it is I'm doing in my own little bubble. At the end of the day he comes back to you. Maybe you should try occupying your time while he's gone.
