Overbearing MILs
Does anyone else have a overbearing mother-in-law? How do you handle it?
I try to bite my tongue but I'm really finding it hard to do it any longer. We've lived here with her for 7 months. My husband is 28 and I'm 24. She has an issue with putting in her opinion into everything. She doesn't respect anyone else's or finding fault in anything she does. I'm 27 weeks pregnant and stressed due to her way of living and being stuck in a place I hate.
She is so so messy, where I am OCD clean freak. I gave up cleaning because there is no point. Her dog pisses and shits everywhere with no reprimand. We live in the middle of no where and my husband works 8-5 mon-sat while I'm home. We only have one car. We can't make any decisions without her opinion, or her hovering in on our decisions or financial information.
She has a huge habit of babying her kids. One is 21 and she pays his car payment, insurance and his food and he doesn't live at home. He has no job. While we live here, my husband works non stop, and do the best we can.
I'm losing my mind!!!
