How do I tell family and when?

I'm 22 and a first time mom just found out I'm pregnant this week and I don't know how to tell my family. I'm only 5 weeks so far but I know my family will freak out because I've only been with my boyfriend for 5 months. Any suggestions on how to tell them? Especially my parents and grandparents? And when is the right time to tell them?

Bite the bullet. Wait till 12 weeks just in case...you gotta get it out quick though. Give them time to be upset and then love past that. Hopefully they can be happy by the time the baby comes.

Are you happy about it? If so be happy about it! Make it fun! Instead of just saying im pregnant. Write it on a pretty piece of paper and put it in a gift box. Or fame it! Whatever your comfortable with. Congrats btw!!

I would wait until the riskiest weeks have past, about 12-14 weeks!

Wait until after your doctor's appt. Make sure everything is OK with baby and get a sonogram pic to show them. I'm sure if they see your excitement even if your scared they'll be happy.
