STD & pregnancy

So lets be honest...have any of you had am std while pregnant? Unfortunately, I had heavy bleeding at 5weeks (1 week after finding out I was pregnant) & I just knew it was a miscarriage...but when I went to the ER...baby was perfectly normal & I wouldn't find out for another week & 3 days that the bleeding was caused by am STD. Needless to say my pregnancy ended at 4 months & my son had a sack on his head when he was born. Not sure exactly what caused the miscarriage. Funny thing is I was faithful to DH up until we lost our son...never in a million years would I have thought he would of gave me an std especially while pregnant.
