Period help

I don't really know where to post this so I'm going to try here. I am breastfeeding my son and my periods returned about 3 months ago and had been regular since then, my period wasn't suppose to be here until 8/6 but AF showed up yesterday. I have heard that some girls periods are irregular while breastfeeding like more spaced out. I guess my question is can that have anything to do with why my period has come sooner? I  am also TTC #2
