Safe face/skin products?

Hey girls! I have bad, oily skin (mostly just my face) and have had acne since high school. The only thing that ever worked was proactive which I've been using since then, however, my doc doesn't want me using it now because it's considered a class c drug and they don't know if it will harm the baby. So now I'm not using it but I'm breaking out like crazy and so shiny! What natural face products are you ladies using that are considered safe?

I had adult acne (never as a teen though) until my fertility specialist tested my vitamin D levels. I had a major deficiency so he put me on supplements (because recent studies show that it is necessary for implantation). Within 6 weeks my skin was 90% clear. I also switched to Dr Bronner's liquid castile soap for babies and a special face washing cloth - all those chemicals in acne washes/meds aren't good for your body - as well as a gentle moisturizer (yes, even oily skin needs moisture!) and noncomedogenic makeup. Even through IVF hormones and now, at 12 weeks pregnant, my skin continues to stay healthy with only the occasional breakout. Note:  I tried Proactive in my early 20s and it took almost a year for my skin to re-regulate itself, it's like it became dependent on the chemicals. Whatever you try, my biggest piece of advice is to give it time to work, as nothing that has worked for me was ever an overnight fix.

The apple cider vinegar smells, but my friend with really bad acne tried everything she could and that was the only thing that fix it.

I know this sounds crazy but it worked like magic for me. I liquefied coconut oil with warm water, added tea tree oil then poured it into a chapstick container and kept it in the freezer. I used it every night (and often in the morning) as a spot treatment. It really saved me and I couldn't believe it because I had used coconut oil in the past on my face and it seemed to cause break outs. If you're interested I can give you the ratios.

Have you ever tried the oil cleansing method? Sounds crazy, but I had skin like you're describing.. As soon as I started using the oil cleansing method it has cleared up so much!! Now I just get the occasional breakouts and they're no where near as bad. My skin is also not oily anymore! I use argon oil. Good luck!

Try products from Lush...I have super oily skin and their tea tree toner + enzymion lotion completely changed my skin! It's awesome and all natural. Its a little expensive but it's really worth it and it lasts a super long time.

I am using Mama Mio products, they are quite pricey but worth it. The face wash is nice but I am not sure if it's going to help with the breakouts since it's quite mild.
