Why do some of you write with all caps?

Just curious. I don't understand the appeal, it makes it seem like you are shouting and I can't help but to read it as if you are shouting. Usually there seems to be zero reason why the whole comment/post needed to be in all caps. Can somebody clue me in?

I've seen that it is more common among less educated people. I'm basing my observation from what I've seen in my Facebook newsfeed, not this app.

I've heard some people using all caps because they cannot see very well, but I think that's probably older ladies on fb though...

it might be completely accidental.  I have not figured it out but my phone has the option to  capitalize every word.  mine started doing it to me nor long after I got it.  I messed with it until I got it off, but still not sure what I did.

Sometimes my cats press the caps button lol I alwaye takr notice, but some people dont, or others are too lazy to retype. I usually skip all caps posts. Not only does it seem like they are shouting, as you said, but I have trouble reading things in all caps (unless it's just a few words) like others have trouble reading cursive. A paragraph in all caps? My eyes hurt lol
