Clearblue -identifying fertile days

Hi there! I'm 35 going on 36. We've been TTC for 6 months. The first couple of months we tracked using two fertility apps (glow including one of them). We then decided to track with the apps and start using the Clearblue Digital ovulation kit. Turned out that we were missing our window by two or three days. Last month was very stressful for me and my period was out of sorts. When I started the testing for ovulation about 5 days after the weird period, it automatically showed the solid fertile smiling face. We tried our best to take advantage of the small window of chance we had, but no go. This past period was back to normal but I decided to start ovulation testing right from the day my period ended. For four days it showed a solid circle, which I expected. This morning I tested and it was the solid fertile happy face. there was no indication of my high peak days in between that lead up to my actual fertile days. Has anyone else had their ovulation tests jump from no/low fertility to full out fertility days?
