Ectopic pregnancy

I found out on Wednesday that my hcg level wasn't doubling. I was suppose to be 6 weeks 4 days. Confirmed on Thursday with another hcg and ultrasound that I had an ectopic pregnancy. They sent me to the hospital right away to get a methotrexate shot. This was our first pregnancy after trying for a year and after 3 rounds of clomid. I'm so upset and sad. I'm thankful for my wonderful husband who hasn't left my side. I still haven't had any symptoms after getting this shot. Is that normal or should I be concerned? I go in tomorrow for a repeat hcg level.
