Maca root?

My DH and I have been trying to conceive for about 6 months. My Dr says its too early to get antsy about it but I'm just not extremely confident in my ability to conceive so I bought a bottle of maca root. I had heard how it would be beneficial for fertility in women but now I'm not so sure. Please share your success stories if anyone has any experience with it.

Update: I have been using maca root for about three weeks now and this is the first month in a good long time that I actually had a good solid positive OPK. Now on to the tww.

Any amount of Maca root gives me headaches.  It does make me feel frisky but bad headaches.

Ive been using it to get pregnant but mainly because i had a miscarrige 2 months ago and they say it helps prevent miscarrige..
