Weird?

So my husband doesn't want anymore children.... I wouldn't mind one more. We can afford one and all that, it's just he only wants one. We don't use condoms and I can't be on birth control for medical reasons now. I asked him to use a condom if he didn't want more children but have been using the pull out method. We used it for a year with no babies when we first met but thought it was too risky so I got on the pill. Now he's ok with using pull out.... Should I continue to have sex with him, risking getting pregnant? Or should I stop and make him use condoms which I know he will refuse to do. I'm not going to not have sex so obviously that's not happening.

I just don't want to force him into a pregnancy but it's 50/50 if I do end up pregnant, right?

If he doesn't want kids but is refusing to use a condom then it would be his fault. Let him know that you'll use the pull out method but he has to go into it understanding you COULD get pregnant, so if he really wants to avoid another child he should seek a different form of BC.

He needs to understand that the pullout method can fail. It's a lot less reliable than condoms or the pill. If he refuses to use proper BC he needs to understand that a baby is a possibility. If he's not happy about that he is more than welcome to go to the doctor and get snipped. He sounds a little selfish if you ask me.

Sounds like you guys need to sit down and talk. You have to tell him that you wouldn't mind another, but you are taking his feelings about having only one kid seriously. It would be really uncomfortable to get pregnant and have him upset about it or unsupportive of having that child in your lives. He needs to understand that his actions aren't matching his words and it's making you uncomfortable.

You need to sit him down and tell him to his face that you could get pregnant this way.  It sounds like he either isn't listening or has something else going on. If he 100% grasps the situation and still continues, this will at least remove the blame from you.

I would tell him to either wrap it or no sex. He is the one saying he doesn't want more children, he is the one or being responsible about it and chances are if you do get pregnant he will be the one to put the entire responsibility of having and caring for this child on you.

If he refuses to wear a condom or get a vasectomy and there's absolutely no form of birth control you can use and you don't want to get your tubes tied, there is a chance you'll end up pregnant. I wouldn't call it forcing him into anything, but there are a lot more options than the pill or a condom. Also you can use Glow to track ovulation and avoid fertile weeks, you know the Natural Family Planning Method.
