Important question!!!

I only had an ovulation test at home and am a week late! Day 41 of my cycle!! I know that with a ovulation test, when you are testing ovulation time, that the test line has to be the same color or darker than the control line. Is that the same with pregnancy? I took it and the test line isn't as dark but is definitely a big fat line! Just wondering if that could still be a positive for that?! Thanks in advance! :)
