Has anyone bought anything off of etsy?

So etsy is a online website where you can buy various things like clothing,phone cases,etc and last night I bought a leather handmade wallet case for my iPhone! This site has its own sellers so it's not a actual store shipping it. I ordered it last night and when I woke up this morning it has said its shipped. I did look up and see some bad things said about being ripped off but I really liked the case and can't find anything like that in the province I live in. If you or someone you know used etsy how did it go? Did you get your order and was it what you expected?
