When did I ovulate?

Question

I took an ovulation text 9th which looks positive, I had sex that night, and my cervix at that time was low, open and softish. I've taken a test this morning (11th) and its negative and my cervix has got high, hard and I think it's shut. I didn't have sex the 10th so I'm worried. When do you think I ovulated? The 9th or 10th?

Ladies if I ovulated the 10th but had sex the 9th could that still have got me pregnant because I heard sperm can stay up there for up to 4 days?
