Feeding?!

My girl is almost 3 weeks old and she eats 3-4 ounces every 2-3 hours.

Just three days old here and waiting on my milk to fully come in. About every hour, anywhere from 5-30 minutes.... Feels like constant but a lot is just comfort sucking.

My daughter is now 5 weeks old (we *were* expecting her in August, hence why I'm in this group, but she decided otherwise!) and she still feeds every 2 hours or so, sometimes more. Sometimes it's only a few minutes, sometimes 20, it varies on the time of day and whether she's having a growth spurt or is tired and just wants to comfort feed. It's all normal!

You should try to offer your baby the breast often in the beginning to establish your supply. I woke her up when we were nearing 3 hours since the last feed on days 3, 4 and 5. No need to supplement with formula, your baby has reserves and it's normal to lose a bit of weight, s/he will regain it by day 10. Just give it a few days and you'll find it easier. Good luck!

Yes! I got completely raw & was bleeding from it! I had to supplement because my milk wasn't coming and little guy was not happy. He couldn't sleep & wasn't full. He's still doing my milk & formula but eating every 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Idk how something so small eats so much!

My son is 2&1/2 weeks and he eats like every 3-4 hours, around 3oz
