Glasses or contacts?

Question

For all of you who wear glasses and/or contacts, what will you be wearing while giving birth? I know it sounds silly but I'm curious.

My eyes get super dry if I wear contacts all day -- and Id rather focus on having the baby rather than have my dry contacts fall out and I'm yelling for my glasses, lol. Personally :)

I had my glasses on with my son and they kept sliding up cause they put an oxygen mask on me and I couldn't see. So this time I am wearing my contacts so I can when the baby gets here and not squinting trying to make out anything other than blurriness lol

Hospital air is very drying for me so I wore my glasses with my son and plan on wearing them this time too. Plus I don't think your allowed to wear contacts if there's a chance of needing a c-section so I'd rather not have to take them out either.

I wore my glasses made it so much easier to nap, cause my contacts get super dry after napping. Which I did a lot of the day I gave birth. Plus idk if it's me but the hospital just seems to have super dry air which doesn't help to begin with.

Probably my contacts, depends how long I'm in the hospital and what I'm doing when water breaks or we start to head out.

I said contacts only because my glasses are annoying. But it depends on a lot - how long I labor, how late it is, etc.

Why do I need to see during labour? I'm going for it bare-faced and blind ;)
