Best car seat? Due in February don't know where to start

We went into a buy buy baby and those people are like experts! They know all the specs. We registered for the most highly suggested (and nearly top priced) car seats for safety and took notes for cheaper safe options for when nobody buys us that one. They were super helpful with car seats and strollers and asked about our lifestyle, etc to help us find the best choices.

If you can go for the cpnve table seat. I have my one month old who came out 9lbs 5oz and is already up to 11lbs 8 and we are already thinking he going to outgrow his carrier and then he going to need a convertible before we know it and we could have gotten one to begin with vs infant seat and having to buy another

It really depends on your baby and your car. There is a fb group car seats for the littles that you can join and will recommend seats based on all the info, great group just beware they take it all very very serious. Many people on there also post pics once their seats are installed to make sure they are correct, it's a great resource since soo many are not, and what's the point of having the best seat if you aren't using it correctly?
