Zyrtec, Claritin, Allegra for allergies...safe or not??

I get seasonal hay fever every August. My allergies are getting out of control and I can't handle it. Is it safe to take Claritin, Zyrtec, Allegra, or any other antihistamines? Help!!

I take zyrtec 10mg everyday. My Dr said it's fine.  I just don't take the decongestant one.

Claritin and Benadryl are the only ones safe for pregnancy.

My dr told me with any of them that it's better for me to take them and be able to breathe and get enough oxygen than to not and be stuffy all the time and baby not get oxygen. They have no proof they are NOT ok to take, they just aren't natural enough to be considered safe.

You should ask your doctor about it, some pills are so dangerous for the baby's developement and if these are not safe the doctor might prescribe something else that is safe for you.

I take singular by prescription everyday all year (sinus surgery a few years back) and when I get bad ob said I could take a Claritin a day as well.

Take the off brand of Zyrtec it's cheaper & you get a lot more & it's better for you during pregnancy.
