Car seat/stroller struggle. 😥

I'm a FTM and I want to my daughter to be as safe as possible at all times. I was looking at car seats and the strollers but they all seem not so comfortable or not so safe or just to cheaply made. I never bought a stroller or a car seat before and idk where to go or where to look. Since both my mom and mother in law weren't fortunate when we were young we lived of hand me downs and now as first grandchild on both sides of the family they're trying to buy the best but we don't know what to look for or where to look.
