Which do you think is better the IUD or the pill?

I've been thinking about trying the IUD but I'm still not completely sold on the topic I'm just worried that it won't work out. Does anyone have any facts about it? Or any advice on the subject?

I had the mirena IUD put in a couple of years ago and I had to have it removed within 8 months. It caused unusual bleeding, pain during sex, scratched my husbands penis, and I often felt bloated and crampy.

Pill! After I stopped getting my depo shots I considered getting mirena but I heard too many bad things and too many YouTube videos!! I started taking Jolessa(pill) and love it

I decided to go with the IUD instead of the pill this January .. Ever since I got it I've had 3 UTIs which I have never had them before .. Cramps were crazy and sometimes it hurt when I had sex with my boyfriend because it was pushing the IUD more in ... I took the IUD out and now I'm on the pill .. I don't know what to expect of it but for me I would have to think a lot before going back to the IUD.

I know two of my friends that have the IUD and it's caused them nothing but problems. I've been on the pill for 7 years, first tri sprintec and recently switched to Junel just to try a different one and I haven't had any problems with either one
