Early miscarriage or just period?

I've been having a few pregnancy for a few weeks. Nauseous, bad cramps with no period (usually I only get cramps right before my period starts) breast tenderness, soreness in general, and overly tiredness. Stuff that isn't normal for me so I kinda thought that I could be pregnant, I was gonna wait a few days to take a test though. Well yesterday morning my period started. Now I'm getting super terrible cramps which isn't usual for me and the flow is very, very heavy, normally mine are pretty moderate though. I'm just sorta wondering if this could possibly be a early miscarriage?
