Ovulation question...

So I am not a good month in of taking metformin 2 times a day b c I couldn't handle 4 times a day, I am also taking clomid on my cycle for day 5-9 and will have blood drawn in September to see if everything is working like we hope, however I am SO nervous and was told that you ovulate after your cycle. My question is once my cycle is over how do I know if I am ovulating & when should I have intercourse??
