Confused

So I'm 15, and I'm just beginning to get into the world of being sexual with another person and such, does being fingered or having oral sex have any affect on what could happen to your body? I'm just a little confused about what it really means to be "sexually active" and what are the risks of doing things that aren't regular sex.
