Tithing

We give in proportion to what we have, and always before we take $ out for bills, etc. We give out of thanks and in faith that God will meet out needs. It's around 10% but more if we have it and when we get raises. Seldom is it less. We try to never stop giving. Even when it gets rough.

My priest said that while 5 he church would love it if you gave the full 10% to them, it isn't required. It still counts if you give to other worthy charities as well. My husband and I are big fans of make a wish and St. Jude

I have mixed feelings about tithing. There are some who say it's for the Old Testament and then others say it continues in the New Testament. I'm not sure what to believe. 

I don't believe in tithing. Jesus gave free. So should we.
