What can i do

I was on metformin 850mg two pills a day i was cut to half a pill now i quit taking them cause they make me light head dizzy an nauesa i told my doctor but she didnt listen an told me to just take half a day it didnt help i dont know what to do how can i control the pcos i just got married and we are really trying to have a baby now any help would be nice my husband also has a low sperm count and slow mobility so any help or advice thank you
