Male infertility treatment, UK
My husband has been diagnosed with a low sperm count by his Dr after two semen analysis and 18 months of trying. His Dr has referred him to the fertility specialist and we are waiting to hear back with an appointment. We were just wondering what other men/couples experienced during their specialist treatment with the nhs. What tests were done? What help was offered or given?
I have children from a previous marriage and because of this we would not be able to have ivf/iui on the nhs and would have to go private. This is obviously very expensive and something we are not sure we could actually afford. So we would like to get as much help and treatment from the nhs so hopefully my husband would be able to have his own child.
Any help, advice or comments appreciated.
