Do you know the answer?

Having a lot of EWCM, does it mean you're currently ovulating or that you are about to ovulate? I know it helps sperm travel to the egg and all that good stuff, but is the egg released at that time or a few days after? My husband and I have been trying for baby #2 for awhile and we ALWAYS have sex during my fertile window, but not always the days following so I'm wondering if maybe that is why we haven't been successful. Anyone have any input? Thanks in advance.
