Should I start my BC again?

I haven't taken my pill in over a month because ive been wanting to switch to the patch. I know I'm not pregnant, but I haven't had my period in that time as well. My periods at least two weeks late. Can I start the patch anyways, or should I continue to wait?

Answer

If there's no possibility at all that you're pregnant then you'll be fine to start the patch because it's probably your body freaking out because you're not on the pill anymore. If there's even the slightest possibility that you could be pregnant, take a test and make absolute sure you're not pregnant before starting the patch.
