Airplanes and first trimester!

So we travel a lot. Every other month we are on our way somewhere for a couple of days. Now my husband is trying to get some trips in before we have our hands full. That means I would be on a plane October , November and December. Has anyone's doctor recommended not flying. Have you read somewhere that flying can be dangerous or cause a MC? My re said it was okay,  I will ask my OB next week. But I was curious what has been the feedback you ladies have gotten? To FLY or not To Fly?
