Might get fired?

Ive been at my new job for 60 days and have missed 4 days (not consecutively) due to being ill. I'm going back today after being gone for 2 days......should I be expecting to get fired? I'm pretty nervous.

I'd say it's pretty likely if it was short notice and you don't have a doctors note or something similar. I've been the boss lady before and I've had to fire people who are "new" and start showing a pattern. 4 sick days is usually a whole years allowance. How far are you into your first 60 days?

You might. I guess it just depends on where you work. This happened to me once within the "probationary period." However I only missed 1 or 2 days, not 4. And they didn't fire me right away. They waited almost an entire two weeks and then did it half way through my shift..
