6 weeks 2 days today

I'm 6 weekss and 2 days today. I previously have had 3 miscarriages and yesterday I was suposed to go see my gyno for an early appt but it ended up getting cancelled due to my dr getting stuck in surgery. I explained to the nurse that last time I was pregnant my dr had explained she wanted me to get on progesterone right away. What exactly does this do ? The nurse said she would call me back today but hasn't yet, I fee like I should get on this asap considering I won't see my dr next until October 26th. I'm nervous bc that's still such a long time away. I want to hear a heartbeat so I'm thinking of getting a heart Doppler off amazon. I've never heard the heartbeats with my other pregnancies, I miscarriages early on. Prayers for me please as I hope this is my rainbow baby for my husband and I. We just got married in August and feel this was gods way In waiting for us to get pregnant after we got married lol. It's a miracle. Anyone ever have experience with progesterone ? I need insight please! Did it make u sick, how did it make u feel ? Did anyone not take it during one pregnancy and experience miscarriage to then go on to get pregnant again and have a healthy baby with taking the progesterone ?
