Did the tour at around 13/14 weeks. We had our last child at home, but this time will have a hospital birth. We wanted the reassurance that the hospital our OB is associated with was a good one, and also have a better idea of how different it will be. Go whenever you want! Most do regular tours. It helps to visualize where you will be during birth.

Mine is sceduled for oct 13th ill be 34 wks couldnt get in any sooner because the last doing the tour is going on vacation

I was wondering too if I should do the tour or any of the classes. I'm a first time mom and just don't know what to expect. The classes aren't free at our hospital though.

I'm 30 weeks and we had a tour this week during one of the classes. Found it to be very helpful in learning where everything is and hospital policies.

I didn't do the hospital tour until I was 36 weeks! A little late I suppose, but it was fine. The tour is a good time to ask any questions that you have about what you can bring with you, if you can choose a room with a tub or shower, etc.!

Seems like about 20 weeks with the first one. We got another tour as a part of the birthing class we did too.
