Medications?!!!

I have been trying to quit smoking... I have yay me! But I have been using CHANTIX and I'm still on it! Is it safe or not I can't find anything and haven't seen my doctor yet?

It's not safe to take during pregnancy. It is a category C drug so that means that risks to your unborn child cannot be ruled out. Consult your doctor ASAP.

I don't know about chantix, but wellbutrin is sold under the name zyban for smoking cessation and my doctor (OB and psychiatrist) told me that it was safe to take wellbutrin during pregnancy(I was on it prior). In fact, my doctor told me that she would rather put a woman on Wellbutrin than have her smoke. Maybe talk about switching to that?
