Hubby knew as soon as I did. My parents knew the day the blood test confirmed (my mom had surgery and asked me point blank instead of even saying hi in the recovery room because she knew it was blood test day). We told my inlaws when they came in town about two weeks later once we had an ultrasound photo to share. We waited to tell them in person rather than calling because they live about three hours away. Then slowly told extended family but swore them to secrecy until we Announced to the world at 13w.

In my opinion, tell your hubby/SO right away and tell everyone else when you are ready.

We waited until we saw heartbeat at 7 weeks....my husband couldn't be quiet any longer. Lol.

We told one friend at 9 weeks because we were on vacation and it involved drinking so I obviously wasn't doing that. Lol I told my best friend at 11 weeks, my parents at 12 weeks (they live 3 hours away and we wanted to tell them in person) and my hubby's parents 3 days later. We have now told our work people and most friends and family. We are planning on announcing on social media after we know the gender which should be in about 4 weeks.
